In 1999, with the dawn of the open economy, six enterprising individuals teamed up to form what was to become one of Sri Lanka's Best-known enterprises. Sanyu Engineering Limited was incorporated to venture into the fields of Civil and Telecommunication Engineering, sectors that were hitherto solely dominated by foreign companies or by companies with foreign collaborations. With the expertise of the company team of professionals, ample resources and stable market position, Sanyu Engineering Company ensure that the Company is exposed to the latest construction techniques, products and materials and is thus able to apply them in the most practical, efficient and profitable manner to give the client the best value for money.

Our Code of Conduct serves as a record of our commitment to ensuring that our business transactions are performed in a manner that is internal and externally secure, successful and equitable.
Sanyu's Code of Ethics is the foundation of our ethical compliance stance and includes standards of conduct with respect to fiduciary obligations, confidentiality, fair employment and non-discrimination, compliance with environmental regulations, safety and health, conflicts of interest, contact and records, presence, disclosure of activity.

We believe in ethical and transparent financial conduct based on sound accounting practices implemented in accordance with universally accepted accounting principles, thus enabling the maintenance of true and accurate financial records of our transactions, assets and liabilities whilst facilitating the sound monitoring and consistent reporting of our financial performance. We have zero tolerance on unethical and unlawful action such as illegal disbursements, procurement, manipulation and bribery.
